No. The remote takes 2 AAA batteries and they are not in the box. Put them in before the first use, because the lamp is switched on and controlled only from the remote, so without them nothing will light up.
How long does it take to start moving?
Give it 1 to 1.5 hours. The ceramic heater warms the wax slowly, so the first 30 minutes look like nothing is happening. Full liquid motion comes once the whole body is warm, and it lasts while the lamp is on.
Can I shake the lamp or turn it upside down?
No. Shaking or tipping the glass clouds the liquid and the blobs stop forming a clean shape. If it happens, switch the lamp off, let it cool for several hours and it usually settles back on the next run.
Which 17 colors are there, and is pink one of them?
The set covers red, blue, purple, green, orange and shades between them, plus 4 modes: Fade, Smooth, Flash and Strobe. There is no dedicated pink, so if pink is the reason for buying, this is worth knowing first.
Can I leave it on all night?
It runs up to 8 hours and then the auto off shuts it down, so it will not stay on until morning. Let it cool before switching on again. Flash and Strobe are the busy modes, and Smooth or Fade suit sleeping better.
